Macedonian language for foreigners of basic level:
The Basic level of Macedonian language for foreigners is intended for adult speakers for whom the Macedonian language is a foreign/second language, and who wish to acquire a basic knowledge of Macedonian language at the basic level for whatever reason. Students could be absolute beginners and individuals with minimal knowledge of Macedonian language. The aim of this level is to help the learners in acquiring Macedonian language competence to a level which will enable them to adequately communicate on topics pertinent to everyday life in simple conversational situations.
The Basic level of Macedonian language for foreigners was designed in accordance with the standards presented in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages set by the Council of Europe, and in this respect of it corresponds to basic levels A1/A2.
At basic level of Macedonian language for foreigners, is using the communicative method, and covers all four language skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing and speaking (speech interaction and speech production).
The basic level of the Macedonian language for foreigners consists of eight lessons preceded by an introductory lesson aimed to present the Macedonian alphabet and stress. Each lesson is followed by grammar exercises.
The basic level of the Macedonian language for foreigners was developed within the frames of the TEMPUS project entitled “Upgrading the study programs in the Macedonian language as a foreign language”, funded by the Tempus program, and which had been carried out at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje, Faculty of Philology “Blaže Koneski”, Center for Testing and Certification of the Macedonian Language as a Foreign/Second Language, Department of Macedonian Language and South Slavic Languages.
The basic level of Macedonian Language for foreigners is a preparatory course for adults interested in taking the TEMAK – the Test in Macedonian Language as a Foreign language, who wish to obtain an authorized certificate of the level of knowledge of the Macedonian language as a foreign language at the basic level.

Macedonian language for foreigners of intermediate level:
The intermediate level of Macedonian language for foreigners is intended for adults interested in studying Macedonian language as a foreign language at an intermediate level. The intermediate level of Macedonian language for foreigners has been designed in accordance with the regulations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Modern Languages, set by the Council of Europe, and in that sense has been adapted for teaching at levels B1 and B2.
The teaching content of intermediate level of Macedonian language for foreigners in corporates conversational and grammatical units for the four language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

Advanced level of Macedonian language for foreigners is intended for adults learners of the Macedonian language who are interested in advancing their knowledge of the Macedonian language to a highly advanced level. The advanced level of Macedonian language for foreigners has been designed in accordance with the regulations presented in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages set by the Council of Europe and in that framework corresponds to level C1.
At the advanced level of Macedonian language for foreigners a conversational method is used, covering all four language skills: reading (understanding written text), listening (understanding spoken text), writing and speaking (verbal interaction and production).
The advanced level of the Macedonian language for foreigners consists of eight lessons. Each lesson is followed by grammar exercises.
